This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and add-ons for the BLOK platform purchased directly through the Service and billed via Stripe. If your Organization purchases the Service under a Master Service Agreement or other written agreement with BLOK Group, that agreement governs refunds for your Organization.
1. Free Trial — Try Before You Pay
New self-signup subscriptions include a free trial (currently 30 days). A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid any charge. The trial is our refund-avoidance mechanism: it gives you a full evaluation period at no cost.
Trials are limited to one per person. If you are not eligible for a trial (for example, because your email address or payment card was previously used for one), you will be clearly shown the charge and asked for explicit consent before any immediate billing occurs.
Purchasing an add-on during your trial ends the trial immediately and starts paid billing; this is disclosed at the point of purchase.
2. Subscription Fees Are Non-Refundable
Except as stated in this Policy or required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable and non-creditable once charged, including:
Monthly subscription fees for any billing period that has started;
Add-on fees (including the prorated charge invoiced when you add an add-on mid-cycle);
Fees for periods in which you did not use the Service.
3. Cancellation Instead of Refunds
You may cancel your subscription or any add-on at any time in your billing settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.
You will not be charged again after cancellation takes effect.
Cancelling an add-on removes it from your next invoice; no partial-period credit or refund is issued for the remainder of the current period.
You can resume a pending cancellation at any time before the period ends.
4. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, we notify you and provide a payment link, and we maintain your access during a grace period (currently 3 days). If payment is not completed, your subscription is cancelled and access ends. Charges successfully collected before cancellation are not refunded.
5. Exceptions
We will issue refunds or credits where:
Required by law. Nothing in this Policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Billing error by us. If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a properly completed cancellation), contact us and we will refund the erroneous amount.
Our discretion. We may, case by case, issue a refund or credit as a goodwill gesture. Doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@blok.co from the email address on your account within 30 days of the charge, including the invoice or charge date and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer; chargebacks filed on validly incurred charges may result in suspension of your account.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of a charge applies to that charge.
